Behind The Lens

Location

I made it in the forest near where I live. I basically consider myself a nature photographer. And taking nature pictures gives me the greatest joy. Scandinavia, and Norway in particular, is everything to me. I want to make Norway proud with all my pictures.

Time

I took this on a foggy darker fall day. I really love foggy , dark autumn moments.

Lighting

I never use extra light... I work with the light of nature.

Equipment

Team Nikon :) . I have just a Nikon d7500 and a Tamron 18-400mm pair .They perform excellently in all situations for me.

Inspiration

I am always inspired by the beauty of nature. I am grateful to be able to see every little detail. Everything in nature is a true treasure

Editing

All my images go through 4 programs to their final status : Adobe Photoshop , Lightroom , Luminar Ai and Topaz Photo Ai. I usually layer them separately and try to create the final image that I have in my head.

In my camera bag

I usually only have an extra SD card and battery with me sometimes tripod .

Feedback

The best pictures are not found on the well-trodden path but deep into the forest. Never be afraid to get dirty and wet, because nature gives you the greatest gift when you make a sacrifice for it. Don't be afraid of unusual perspectives and unusual colors. And never give up. :)
