Every year, the Kansas City Zoo, gives their animals a taste of the magic of Christmas. With the help of donations, as well as what the zoo brings in, the animals are given Christmas presents with some of their favorite things inside of boxes, on Christmas trees, and in toys. The group of female lions tend to enjoy their presents much better than the boys do so I was lucky enough to catch this girl with her head inside, trying to get every morsel of meat that was hidden inside. Despite their wild nature, even animals can act like kids at Christmas.
