I captured this shot with the last rays of light in an area frequented by the Iberian lynx, one of the most endangered felines in the world, near a small waterhole.
I was incredibly lucky to witness several individuals coming to drink. But this lynx cub got a little distracted—not by the water, but by a group of bees that shamelessly bothered him.
As if out of curiosity, he took a step toward the swarm, and that’s when I managed to take the shot.
