Taken in Thailand at Green Elephant Ethical Care Sanctuary in January 2024. This elephant was the most recently rescued girl to join the sanctuary. She had been mistreated so badly she struggled to interact and trust the other elephants who are homed at the sanctuary. Here she is with her dedicated mahout who is the sole carer for the magnificent animal until her life cycle is complete.
